Palmer's Room - it was a very dark cave! All 4 walls were a dark blue, so to lighten it up I painted 3 walls Sherwin Williams Snowbound white. I kept an accent wall behind his bed blue and added a herringbone stencil on it (Herringbone Stencilit). We did a few accent pictures of superheroes and I'm excited to have decorated a room that he can grow in to!

Kinley's Room- Kinley's room turned out to need a lot of work! There was wood molding a foot from the ceiling all around his room, and when we went to remove it, we found it was liquid glued on and tore down to the drywall! We had to hire professionals to patch, re-drywall, texturize and paint his room. What a job! The walls are now a lovely white and I turned it into an Adventure room for our Adventure Dude! I also had to paint the ceiling since the previous owners had stuck glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and when the stickers were removed... the ceiling paint had come off with it.

Kitchen - The kitchen had a lot of red accents and brown walls... to update this dated look, we added new light fixtures and painted the walls Sherwin Williams On the Rocks gray. I recently got a Magnolia Home Brushstroke Rug that I love!

Living Room - We had a red accent wall over the fireplace that we had painted the color of the rest of the room. I painted the fireplace white to give it a much needed update. We also ordered a large sectional couch and made a gallery wall! I love this room and how it is coming along. I am also succulent obsessed and find myself decorating all over with them!

Kyle's Office - This room was RED! 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of Sherwin Williams On the Rocks later and it's a nice gray! This room originally did not have doors, so we had professionals come and install more drywall on the sides and top of the opening to fit French Doors. Kyle loves his office and it's a nice space for him to work at home if given the chance! We are looking for a cow hide rug to complete the look :)

Banister - The stair banister was very dated and the wood was very worn. I decided to sand it and apply Minwax stain with Polyurethane in Espresso. I did 3 coats and then used white paint to re-paint every single spindle. This project was by far my longest one and took me a week! But the paint is fresh looking and I love how the banister is dark like our wood floors.

Entryway - I love how this piece turned out. I had an old window shutter that my mom and I nailed plates on hangers to and then placed it above my cute bar furniture piece from Pottery Barn. Plates are so fun to work with!

Guest Room - My guest room had some really strange paint happening in there. The top of the wainscoting was brown and the wainscoting was an iridescent white/blue color. So I painted over the brown with leftover grey and used white paint by Behr in Silky White on the baseboards and wainscoting. Turned out great!

Well now I am busy re-doing my Master Bedroom. It now has white walls instead of brown/green ones and it took me two days to paint! A lot of sweat has gone into my home but I am so pleased with how it is turning out! I hope to continue to share more projects soon!
Enjoy!
