Palmer's Camping 4th Birthday Party

My little guy is 4 years old! I can't believe it - but sort of happy since 4 has got to be better than 3 1/2! To celebrate we had a birthday party at our house with a lot of kids and adults! Hot dogs, beans, mac and cheese, and cupcakes were on the menu - kid friendly fare! In our basement we created a 'tent' out of a mosquito net and Christmas lights with some LED balloons I found on Amazon. Each kid was given a flashlight and the freedom to have fun in our basement! It was a crazy but successful party! Below are the details on everything with links to make or buy what I used to make our 'camping' party a reality.

My Aunt sent the cutest cookies for the party - they were a big hit!

 Made "eating," "camping," "hiking" signs out of construction paper

Made a campfire out of construction paper with "marshmallow" names

 S'mores in a cup: graham crackers, mini marshmallows and Hershey's chocolate

Campfire Cupcakes! Melted candy instructions here, toothpick with marshmallows and pretzel stick "logs"

 Mosquito net "tent," Christmas lights, felt banner, LED balloons!
